ArcticZen’s deep freezer Ice Bath conversion is fully integrated with everything you need to start your journey into deliberate cold exposure therapy.
Chilling: With in-wall refrigeration, you can rest assured your ice bath will achieve the coldest temperatures -cold enough to generate a sheet of ice at the surface and walls of the tub.
Insulation: Because our ice baths are deep freezer conversions, you can rest assured the insulation will keep internal temperatures low while maintaining the most energy efficient ice bath solution available on the market.
Thermostat: Digital wifi controlled water temperature to the exact degree you’re looking for.
Water Filter: ArcticZen Ice baths come with an easy to replace, 20 micron filter.
Sanitation: Purchase Ozone or UV option and dose occasionally with 35% Hydrogen Peroxide for chemical free water.
Pump: ArcticZen ice baths come standard with a 1000+ gallon per hour pump that is plenty to keep your water fresh and circulated.
Power: Our ice baths are designed to operate on a standard 110v outlet (grounded, GFI plug). ArcticZen ice baths come with a digital wifi or manual enabled timer that operates the pump and chiller. Simply plug the timer into a dedicated outlet and it will control your cold plunge pump and chiller based on when you want and need it cold. We recommend running your pump and filter at least two hours per day. Many people set their timers to run once in the afternoon and once in the early morning hours and find our ice baths are very power efficient. *Always unplug or fully disconnect the ice bath before entering. Please consult your local, licensed electrician for proper installation.
Cover & Lid: The lid is fully insulated to ensure energy efficiency. An additional rain guard cover comes with the ice bath to protect from inclement weather.
Trim: Our ice baths are typically trimmed in luxurious, Brazilian Ipe wood. We do take custom requests if you need to match your existing decor -additional fees will apply.
Water Proofing: This is not an ordinary deep freezer. We start by sanding and taking the factory interior down to bare metal. We then use a high grade marine sealant to seal all of the seams, corners and lip. After that, two coats of high quality primer is applied and sanded accordingly. The final layer consists of 4 coats of aquarium and pool safe, non-toxic epoxy. Each layer is cured and sanded until the final coat is applied. This meticulous process ensures your ice bath will last for years to come.
Size & Fit: Our regular ice bath is great for anyone up to 6’1″. The XL is great for anyone up to 6’6″. If you are taller than 6’1″ you will still fit in the regular, just not as comfortably. If you are taller than 6’6″ or weigh more than 240lbs, we highly recommend our XXL Cold Plunge unit or inquire about a custom build XXL ice bath.
Dimensions: The small ice bath is for our minimalists. Most people can fit in but its particularly designed for smaller people, it is 32″ long x 22″ wide x 33″ tall. The regular ice bath is 55″ long x 29″ wide x 33″ tall. The XL is 55″ long x 36″ tall. The XXL is MASSIVE: 84″ long x 33″ wide x 33″ tall. All options require an additional 12″ around the unit to accommodate for proper cooling operation. Keep in mind, these are minimum space requirements and we suggest having additional room around your ice bath.
Warranty: All of our products are covered by our 1yr manufacturers warranty. An extended warranty is available at the time of purchase on most of our products.
